Goal
Round1 Firearms Training strives to help you develop your firearm skills so you feel confident when applying for a License to Carry (LTC) after earning your certification. We will discuss gun safety. You will have the opportunity to handle a variety of pistols and apply what you have learned at the range. When you complete the course, you will feel confident and have the necessary skills to handle a revolver or a semi-automatic pistol.
Instructor
My name is Rick Rossetti Jr. I have been involved with firearms starting at a young age. My Dad would take us to the range to shoot his .22lr Mark I Ruger and a Marlin .22lr single shot bolt action rifle. I always looked forward going to the range. We always talked about gun safety, such as pointing the muzzle in a safe direction and finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot. It was all about safety and fun.
Military
I served in the Marine Corps from 1986 to 1996. In that time frame I traveled the world and was assigned to a unit that participated in Desert Shield/Desert Storm. I am a Disabled Veteran and Honorably Discharged with the rank of Captain.
NRA
I am certified by the NRA and Massachusetts State Police to teach the Basic Firearms Safety (BFS) course. I encourage you to join the NRA and take part in preserving America’s freedom.
I look forward to training with you in the future, and please remember gun safety rules must always be followed whether you are learning for the first time or you are a seasoned veteran.
Thank you for your interest in Round1 Firearms Training in Middleton, MA.
